Keeping up to date with developments in your area of practice is quite a challenge. The Library can assist you to keep abreast of relevant information
Saved searches and Autoalerts
These are topic searches on Medline, Embase, PsycINFO or the Cochrane Library which are saved and set to run each time a database is updated (usually weekly). Each update will generate an emailed list of any new references which meet your search criteria. The Library staff can help you to develop your "expert search" and then save it.
Tables of contents (TOCs)
The Library is able to provide you with TOCs from any journal title received in the Library. Most TOCs are now provided electronically to an email address, but if you prefer, TOCs can be provide in paper format (ie. a photocopy of the TOC is provided when the issue is received by the Library).
If you would like to receive the TOCs of the most important journals in your are (limit 10 per person) please contact the Library.
